What are your current jams? For me, these are the songs in constant repeat. The theme of my playlist: ” Falling in Love is a Disease”. All of them are about heartbreak and unrequited love. Don’t get me wrong. I m not heartbroken but I’m writing a novel revolving in this theme. I listen to these songs to set me in the mood and they successfully make me feel all the pain, all the time.
This June Playlist is a collaboration bujo spread gallery with talented bullet journalists in Instagram. We came from different parts of the world, different ages but united with our love for journaling. I compiled this in one blog so I can have a quick glance of everyone’s June playlists for later listening.
This was supposed to be a list only but I ended up writing my analysis and memorable lyrics as well. If you’re interested, here is the list. It’s a combination of English and Filipino Songs. To tell you the truth, I created this playlist in youtube because I also love their music videos. Here’s a link for your convenience. Although there are more songs featured there, here are my top five.
SONGS FEATURED! ENJOY THE FEELS! 1. Slow Dancing in the Dark by Joji 2. True Love by Coldplay 3. Sol at Luna by Geiko 4. Sa Hindi Pag-Alaala by Munimuni 5. Nobela by Join the Club

Hi Friends! Just want to share with you my bullet journal set-up for April 2020. I opted for a black and white color scheme last month because I heard that minimalist or monochromatic bujo is not that popular in bullet journaling community. Many were discouraged because they felt they can’t doodle or not talented enough to do colorful spreads. I admit I entered the world of bullet journaling because of those colorful bujo that caught my interest. Eventually, I was equally blown away to those are doing minimalist bujo’s. Sometimes, the writer would just use notebook and black ink but his/her spread would still come out so amazing. I felt sometimes it was more challenging to do minimalist bujo. One of my favorites bujo minimalists is supermassiveblackink . Just look at her sample spreads below.
So for the month of April 2020, I took this as a challenge for me. This is also an opportunity for me to explore the features of my mobile printer Paperang 2.o. I bought it last February. It’s a thermal printer which only prints black and white images. It’s fairly affordable than the mobile colored printers. The paper rolls are also inexpensive. It can be used as portable printer for receipt , labeler, graphics, images and nametags. For journaling purposes, I don’t think I’ll be able to afford to buy paper rolls for colored mobile printer every month. I’m pretty sure that even if I bought one, I won’t be able to use it as much as I want to. So glad that I discovered Paperang 2.0.
If you are wondering where to buy it, I got it from Lazada. It comes with free paper rolls. You can also buy additional paper rolls in Lazada. Here’s the link.
For the first time also, I made a complete behind-the-scenes video of my April 2020 showing the mobile printer in action.

WEEKLIES
First Week Spread Theme: Inspired by our health care frontliners who are our superheroes during this quarantine period. The artworks printed here were made by various Filipino artists.
Second Week Spread Theme: Relationship
Third Week Spread Theme: Essential Workforce
Fourth and Fifth Week Theme:
My theme for the last two weeks were “Portraits of the Fallen Healthcare Frontliners”. These are our heroes who died amidst our fight against the pandemic. I thought of printing their hand-drawn portraits here so that I’ll be reminded of their faces and their name. Unfortunately, I personally knew one of them way back college. He was a classmate and friend of my bff during first year. Even though our friendship is just short, I remember his warm personality. It’s just sad to hear the news the he’s among the doctors who died in the plane crash in NAIA while they were on their way to a medical mission. It’s disappointing to hear the plights of our healthcare professionals. Not only their lives are at risk, they are also largely discriminated and harassed by the community. I hope this pandemic would end for their sake.
Credits for these portraits goes to Aurelio Castro III.
Holy Week Reflection Spread
Because of pandemic, we were not able to properly observed the Holy Week traditions. But hey, there’s internet. So for this year, I joined the online Holy Week Retreat headed by ‘The Feast”.
For the month of April, I watched the new season of kingdom and Money Heist. Here are some of my thoughts and rating.
As usual, ending this month with Evaluation and April Memories spread. Luckily even if I spent it mostly at home, there are still reasons to celebrate. One of these, my three of my close friends are now future parents. Yes, they are made with love during quarantine period.
I am pretty satisfied with my spreads. Thanks to Paperang for adding life since I can not draw. But next month, I will go back to brown aesthetic because that’s my most favorite of all.
Creative Journaling has been part of my coping mechanism, during this stuck at home lifestyle. I find comforts in writing and words. I would like to recommend this activity to everybody. It does not have as elaborate as I usually did. It could be simple one liner sentence of gratitude everyday. Or you could write what’s bothering you with our current situation. However, I understand that coping mechanism would be different for everybody. So I would like to also know how do you maintain your mental health this season. Feel free to commend and suggest!
Additionally I would like to invite you to be my International Blogger Friend. The basic idea is to have at least one blogger friend in each country. In the Philippines where I live, I also have a separate directory called one friend in each PH Region. For more details, just go to this link. I hope you accept my invitation!
Hoping you are safe!

I started bullet journaling this year to lessen my bad habit of killing time through social media. Now this hobby and as well as writing my thoughts have been my refuge from this stay-at-home lifestyle. Join me as I flipthrough my February 2020 bullet journal entries.
Part 1: The Cover Page. To set the mood and theme of this month.
Part 2: My Habit Tracker. This looks like a beanstalk actually. I only decided to track 5 habits here. But they are hard to acquire habits. I draw leaves on the corresponding branch if I executed that particular habit.
Part 3:My Blog Plan Tracker. This is where I write my blog topic ideas. I don’t have problems with ideas. It’s the execution that is hard as always haha.
Part 4: Weekly Spreads!
FIRST WEEK. For the first week of February, I suddenly had this idea of combining a mood tracker and my daily thoughts in a comic strip format. Each leaves will have an expression depending on my overall disposition that day. With the comic balloon, it will narrate my thoughts. I also keep tracked of my estimate spending for each day.
For a closer look when the spread is not yet filled-up. So last Feb 3, I was hopeful that NCOV will be over soon because I heard that HIV treatment worked well in a patient. I was also hopeful that time that our March-April trip to South Korea will push through. But writing it now during a lockdown, it made me sad because obviously, it did not end so soon as I hoped it would be. And our South Korean trip was also cancelled. ***Sigh***
SECOND WEEK. I continued this concept on the second week. But the it’s the potty-plants with faces this time. I also continued to track the estimate spending for each day. The goals for this week is still in the same corner.
THIRD WEEK: I didn’t have time to do the same style so I just pasted stickers here and there then write whatever. It did not adhere much with Potty Plant theme. But I made sure the color will still be mostly brown. These stickers are vintage outfit stickers.
FOURTH WEEK: By this time, I already received my Paperang 2.0 that is why there are now images of each day of the week here in the fourth week. The images are captured and printed directly from mobile phone. I will blog my experience with Paperang soon.
Part 5: My Sunday Spreads. I decided to write a full-page Sunday journal each week. Also I set this as my evaluation day the things I achieved that week and my points to improve for the following week.
Part 6: Payday Tracker. I started this last month. This aim to track how I divide my payday earnings.
Part 8: Filler spreads. These are my first prints in Paperang 2.0.
Just random full page calligraphy when I feel it,
Part 9: Monthly Evaluation. The part where I review my goals and if they are achieved at the end of the month. I also reflect on my habits ,pain points and improvements that I should carry over the next month.
That ends my February set-up! Introducing my March 2020 Cover Page as the ending. My theme next month is “Throwback Memories”.
Before I end this post, I also invite you to follow my youtube channel. I will post more bujo stuff soon.
Or maybe you’re interested to be my International Blogger Friend.
